Race 5

Well this 5k thing is getting addicting! ;) This was my 1st 5k to run on my own! Even if people don’t run it with you, that’s no excuse to not do it! If you make a goal to get signed up and have it put on your calendar, you will get it done! That’s the one big thing I learned. It’s like goal-setting–if you write it down, you are more likely to achieve that goal. If you are thinking of running a 5k, how will you ever run one if you don’t sign up for one? During this race, I felt strong also. I finally started taking my running more serious, so it was a great run for me. I believe my time at this point was like 35:40. Still slow compared to some of you :) but it was getting better and that was my goal!
